Evangelism:               

Evangelism is defined in Webster’s Dictionary as, “The winning or revival of personal commitments to Christ; militant or crusading zeal."  Do you have a winning personal commitment to Christ; a militant crusading zeal to see men come to know Christ?   Evangelism is more than something to do at church retreats.   It is nothing you turn off and on when you leave church and go back out into the world.  It is living and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in season and out of season.  When you gave your life over to Christ you became an Evangelist.   Jesus said," Go into the world and make disciples of all men."   If you are a believer in Christ,  He was speaking to you..   If you are a Christian, ask yourself, " Do I share my faith with those around me?" Charles Spurgeon said, "Have you no wish for others to be saved? Then you are not saved yourself. Be sure of that.”...  If you desire to share your faith but are fearful, "How do I get started? Three hundred million years from now, what will be the only thing that will matter? Will it matter how much money you made?  Will it matter what kind of car you drove? Will it matter who won the NCAA football and basketball titles this year? Will it matter who you took to the homecoming dance?

Three hundred million years from now, the only thing tha will matter is who is in heaven and who is in hell. And if that is the only thing that will matter then, that should be one of our greatest concerns now. Jesus tells us in Matthew 18:11, "The Son of Man has come to save that which was lost." If it is of the utmost importance for Jesus to reach the lost, shouldn't it be a major priority for you? The real question is, what are you doing of significance today that will matter 300 million plus years from now?  

Second Corinthians 5:10 assures as, "We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad." Do you really believe as a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ that there will be a day on which you will stand before His throne? We will each go one-on-one with the God of this universe. Can you imagine that? Do you think it will matter on that day whether youboldly shared your faith with unbelievers, whether you told a very lost and dying world about the only answer for a soul— Jesus? Yes,it will. It will matter whether you shared the most precious thing you have with everyone you could. 

This text that you just read was from Mark's Cahill's book Of the same title.(page 11)   Think about it.  What is the one thing you can't do in Heaven?  Answer...Lead a  sinner to the savior.  150,000 people die each day. 10 out of 10 people die. They will either go to Heaven or Hell. Please share you faith.  Obey The Great Commission.  Charles H. Spurgeon said, "Have you no wish for others to be saved. Then you are not saved yourself.Be sure of that. If those around us are going to enter Hell, let them have to leap over our bodies and pry themselves from our hands. Not because we failed to tell them.
